Our “Stop Doing Dumb Things” (#SDDT) Unconference last year was such a success: "A real inspiration... I left SDDT with so many fresh ideas, so much future hope!"

So, we decided to do it again - even better!

Businesses are not born legendary - they have to build and form around the passions and behaviours of their people.

Founder led businesses may have an advantage, but many people work in or with large corporate businesses that don't feel quite like Amazon or Apple.

Great companies are driven by more than money. Great customer experiences and fabulous people engagement are linked. Great businesses have real purpose, that drives passion and care, energy and difference. And that purpose drives value for customers, staff and stakeholders.

So what can you do to change your environment, influence your colleagues and jolt your company so it is as strong and as joined up as the leading lights? Can it become one of the great places to work and if so how?

You could start by charging your batteries, kick starting your brain cells and join in the conversation at our Unconference on June 27.

Read enough? Want to be involved...?

If you weren't  there last year, our Unconference is a participative, collaborative learning experience with no event sponsors, no selling and no long presentations. You will meet with fellow practitioners and experts and discuss issues and opportunities that are important to you.

It's collaborative. If you have something you would like to address, then please suggest it. The day will be made up of:

· Free flowing discussion groups based around subjects as suggested by the attendees in the lead up to the unconference and on the day itself.

· 7-minute, expert presentations about what’s new to generate fresh dialogue.

Who will be there?

Ben Willmott, Head of Public Policy, Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development on leadership. (more...)

Neil Morrison, Group HR Director, Random House Publishing and writer of the Change Effect blog. (more...)

Neil Jervis, Director of recruitment firm and community interest company Resonate on regenerating communities through business. (more...)
